7 Life Hacks for Better Mornings

I can honestly say, I love mornings! Especially when I don't have to punch into someone's clock. The peace that comes with waking up to a sunny room bundled up in all white blankets is the best feeling in the world. I wasn't always appreciative of waking up early.
There were times when I slept until mid afternoon just to get back into bed hours later after eating leftover pizza from the night before. But I knew eventually I would have to grow to love mornings. You know it's true what they say, "Early birds get the worm", right?
Here are 7 life hacks to have better mornings:
1.) Of course, Wake up earlier.
Waking up early will give you an early start to your day. It gives you space and time to relax while getting a peace of mind before all of the tasks and stress comes into play.
2.) Drink Water.
The first thing that I think about when waking up is drinking a glass of water. Our body naturally digests and resets while we are sleeping so most likely our bodies will be dehydrated when getting up. After getting out of bed, head over to the fridge and drink a bottle of water. You will feel so much better and awake! Trust me.
3.) Take a seat and breath.
This is also known as the "Miracle Morning". You could spend this time meditating, writing in a journal, or listening to your favorite podcast. I simply like to use this time to sit by the window and reflect things that are going on in my life and remember the things that I am grateful for.
4.) Eat a pretty breakfast.
When you can Instagram your breakfast, then you are more likely to be happier while eating it. Pancakes, fruits, yogurts, or eggs are a really good filling breakfast to get your day started.
5.) Put on clothes even if you don't have any plans.
When you get dressed as if you were going somewhere, you are more likely to be productive. Get out of your pajamas and do your hair. If I don't have plans for the day, I like to put on workout clothes to motivate myself to go for a jog at the park or the gym. Also, work out clothes are great to chill in while also looking chic.
6.) Set a game plan.
Write down a few goals that you want to tackle throughout the day. This will help you execute and get more things done.
7.) Get Active!
Walking to a park or going to the gym is a great way to start your day. Even when I don't feel like working out, I would take a visit to a park and sit on the bench while listening to music. This time alone gives me a boost of energy to jumpstart me day.
